T&D Europe, the electricity transmission & distribution industry association, will organise the 2016 Energy Policy Conference “Reinventing Electricity: Reaching Energy Union Goals through Grid Digitisation and Interconnection” on 29 November in Brussels.

The European electric grid is under massive transformation today to face the challenges of integrating an increasing renewable energy share, ensuring security of supply to all European consumers and making the internal energy market work. T&D Europe members are arguing that beyond a transformation, the European grid needs are invention to reach those ambitious objectives.
